I stayed there for 2 nights and I had a wonderful stay. I was there for the Architecture Biennial so the location was very convenient for me. I liked how quiet the locality was. The staff gave me a lot of tips to explore Venice. The beds were comfy. Only issue I had was that there were no night lights near the bed but they had 2 well lit reading areas on each floor, so I could get my work done. Lots of books around the hostel, comfy reading spaces, terrace was a lovely place. The garden was tiny and I couldn't use it but across the boundary wall was a beautiful garden so the views from the terrace were soothing. There were no lockers but the staff were kind enough to make an arrangement where I could drop my laptop with them from 9am-9pm. Since it was Autum and the sun would set by 8pm, I didn't have an issue returning by 9pm but this arrangement could be a problem in summers. The staff also let me keep my luggage after I checked out. I had a good stay :)

The position is perfect, the hall is horrible but the room was good and the terrace has an incredible view
The price is good, but we had one bathroom for 10 people so we waited a lot in the morning, i think with a mirror in the room will be fast ( for example to makeup and comb the hair )

Our host was extremely kind and was willing to answer any questions we had about the city! He gave us a map and marked all the places he thought were worthy of visiting and even showed us a couple of good, local restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Gute Lage, vor allem zur Biennale, sehr ruhig, tolle Dachterrasse. Alles sauber und in Ordnung, nettes Team. Dazu hatten wir im 6-Bett-Zimmer sehr nette und rücksichtsvolle Mitbewohner: alles super!

주인장 너무 웃겨요 ㅋㅋㅋ 계속 말걸어주고 개그치고. 또 제가 핸드폰충전기를 잃어버려서 어디서 구입해야 하는지 물어보니깐 직접데려다 주셨어요. 일요일이라 문을 대부분 닫아서 세군데나 돌아다녔는데 싫은 기색없이.. 또 돌아다니면서 카페에서 커피도 사주셨어요. 시설도 전부 깨끗하고 주방있고 타월도 주고.

Pros: great location, awesome staff, friendly culture, clean, comfortable, safe, affordable
Cons: No lockers, too many people per shared bathroom, lousy shower pressure.
I stayed here for 2 nights. Other than being slightly uneasy about leaving my less valuable things behind somewhat unsecured and having to share a bathroom with 5 girls, I had a wonderful experience here. It is affordable, comfortable, quiet and secluded and the staff helped me plan my days to have a great time.

Sadly my experience was not so positive. My expectations, following the rating and photos were rather high, were disappointed. My shared room in the eastern part of the hostel had a pretty low standard and was much too small for 4 people. In the corner of my bed there were mold-like stains on the wall. When we asked for a dish towel we were given one half of a normal towel with stains and one ripped side. One of the employees was very friendly, the other one a bit grumpy. When I announced via phone that I would arrive late in the day bc there had been a problem with my train connection, they tried to charge me an extra fee for arriving late. I refused (since this had not been mentioned on the website) and when I arrived it was not mentioned anymore, so I felt like sb just tried to take advantage of my situation and look if they might get through with it. Don't fall for any such trap! So I hope this hostel improves since the location is nice and there would be a lot of potential in it!

Really good place with super friendly staff and a reasonable price (in a pretty expensive city, and we're from New York). We were a group of 4 and arrived quite late and were all totally starving and the staff were nice enough to make us some nice pasta bolognese with bread and beer. Beds were comfy and the pillows super good. The room had a bathroom and a little adjoining private kitchen (so we could make our own breakfast and cook which saved us a lot of money )and AC which all make our stay really nice and helped us sleep really well and recover at nights. We would definitely recommend it.

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights and we loved it! Great location and the staff is extremely welcoming. What the apartment lacks in facilities it makes for in charm. Be aware there are many people sharing one bathroom, and the beds aren't extremely comfortable. Other than that, the hostel was great. There's an AMAZING rooftop patio, where we enjoyed several meals and bottles of wine. Each floor has a small kitchen with a stove and fridge, so you can prepare small meals or store food if needed. The hostel also has a very home-y feel; we never had to lock up our things and felt comfortable hanging out in the building. Linens and towels are provided. Our host gave us several great recommendations. Overall would highly recommend to lower-maintenance travelers who don't mind sacrificing a bit of comfort for a charming hostel experience.

Great location for walking to sites but off the beaten tourist track. Staff were friendly and welcoming and to help make your Venice trip the best. The place looks a bit shabby but has homely features like mismatched sofas. It is well cleaned and has the added bonus of a rooftop terrace. Considering what other options there are, I think this place is good value for money and I would stay here again!

My friend and I had a fantastic 2 night stay here! The owner is extremely friendly and helpful - he marked a map of Venice and told us all the places we should visit during our stay. It's in a perfect location - just a short walk from St. Mark's square. The facilities were good - there is a guest kitchen along with a bathroom that we shared with another bedroom. Overall, great experience. If I ever find myself back in Venice, I would definitely stay here again.

Totalmente insatisfecho con el trato, hicimos una reserva pero no pudimos viajar debido al Covid y después de intentar varias veces que nos devolviesen el dinero de la reserva ni siquiera se han dignado a contestar. Se aprovechan de que no vivimos allí para poder exirgirselo. Por mi experiencia no lo recomiendo

I stayed for 4 nights and I was satisfied. At first I was confused about the condition of the front, but than I realised there is a building in the back. The host was very kindly and the facilities was convenient. The roof-deck is amazing!!! I had every dinner on the roof with the beautiful view at the Campanile of San Marco! The Location is also perfect to discover the city.
Thank you for this great time, I will come back!

A very basic stay in the center of Venice. 10 Min. walk to San Marco and San Zaccharia. The staff was helpful in any way, good tipps for restaurants, shops and sights. A nice atmosphere with other travelers. Guests of all ages, from single travelers, to couples, to families. Artists, students, worldtravelers. Very easy stay with self catering and a great rooftop - no privacy though. And they so not offer lockers.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Gute Lage, vor allem zur Biennale, sehr ruhig, tolle Dachterrasse. Alles sauber und in Ordnung, nettes Team. Dazu hatten wir im 6-Bett-Zimmer sehr nette und rücksichtsvolle Mitbewohner: alles super!

Could have been better.
Very difficult to find as no signs on street!
Had to request second bed sheet.
Was charged extra for late arrival, but I walked past SEVERAL times.

주인장 너무 웃겨요 ㅋㅋㅋ 계속 말걸어주고 개그치고. 또 제가 핸드폰충전기를 잃어버려서 어디서 구입해야 하는지 물어보니깐 직접데려다 주셨어요. 일요일이라 문을 대부분 닫아서 세군데나 돌아다녔는데 싫은 기색없이.. 또 돌아다니면서 카페에서 커피도 사주셨어요. 시설도 전부 깨끗하고 주방있고 타월도 주고.

Pros: great location, awesome staff, friendly culture, clean, comfortable, safe, affordable
Cons: No lockers, too many people per shared bathroom, lousy shower pressure.
I stayed here for 2 nights. Other than being slightly uneasy about leaving my less valuable things behind somewhat unsecured and having to share a bathroom with 5 girls, I had a wonderful experience here. It is affordable, comfortable, quiet and secluded and the staff helped me plan my days to have a great time.

The place has a stunning roof top and amazing hosts! They helped us with everything and always were very friendly! I would definitely stay there again! :)

Our stay here was short but I would definitely use this hostel again for when I come back. Great location and the reception manager is super sweet and very helpful and gives lot of cool tips about the city.
